What will you learn?

Witchcraft is not a single tradition but a convergence of several distinct systems, and knowing the difference between them determines how you approach every ritual you perform. This module covers the myths that have historically distorted public understanding of the Craft, the core ethical frameworks that govern Wiccan practice including the Rede and the Rule of Three, and the four main paths taught in this course: Wiccan, Hoodoo, Elemental, and Eclectic. You will understand what each system is, where it comes from, and how they relate to each other before any spell is cast.
The ritual tools of the Craft are not decorative objects. They are the four elemental instruments that appear across Celtic myth, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and the Solomonic tradition before being formally integrated into Wiccan practice by Gerald Gardner: the Athame as the blade that directs and commands energy, the Wand for channeling and calling spirits who cannot be approached with metal, the Chalice representing the womb of the Goddess used in the Great Rite and for consecrated ritual drink, and the Cauldron as the vessel of transformation and alchemical change where petitions are burned and potions are prepared. The Bell, used to call spirits and mark ritual transitions, completes the working altar. This module covers the purpose and correct use of each tool, how to build and consecrate your altar as a living sacred space, and the full cleansing and charging protocol using salt, smoke, and moonlight that must be performed before any tool is put to use.
The magical circle is the foundational container for all serious ritual practice, creating a boundary between ordinary space and sacred space where intention is amplified and spirits are received safely. This module covers the process of casting and closing a circle correctly, the eight Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year from Yule to Samhain, Esbat practice on the full moon, and how to align spells with the four lunar phases for maximum effect. Understanding timing is not optional in this system, and this module builds the calendar awareness that makes every subsequent ritual more effective.
The five elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit, are not just symbolic categories but active forces that can be directed, combined, and housed in physical objects for ongoing magical effect. This module covers working with each element in ritual, creating elemental pouches, bowls, and altar corners, and the full craft of writing and structuring spells including rhyme, commanding language, sealing, binding, layering, and reinforcing. The Book of Shadows is also introduced here as the practitioner's living record, and you will learn how to charge it as a functional magical tool.
Candle magic is one of the most versatile and immediately accessible systems in the Craft, and this module covers dressing, carving, and timing candles for specific intentions across the full spectrum of color correspondences. Herbal magic is taught alongside it, covering the magical properties of key herbs and how they are used in teas, incense, mojo bags, sachets, and ritual baths. You will also learn to create intention oils for love, protection, prosperity, and psychic enhancement, and understand how oils are used to anoint candles, tools, and yourself.
A sigil is a personal magical symbol constructed directly from your intention, and this module teaches the full method of designing, activating, and deploying personal sigils in spellwork. You will learn how to use sigils on petition papers, mirrors, and directly on the body with oil or kohl, and how to integrate them into larger spell constructions for layered effect. Spell crafting is taught here as a complete skill including sealing, binding, and reinforcing, so that spells hold their energy over time rather than dissipating after the initial casting.
Protection in the Craft is not passive, it is an active and layered system built from physical tools, energetic shields, and maintained daily practice. This module covers fire bowls, mirrors, protection jars, witch bottles, amulets, and energetic shields, as well as the daily hygiene routine that keeps your field clear morning, day, and night. Banishing and cleansing techniques are taught as distinct from protection, with specific tools and methods for removing what has already entered rather than simply preventing entry.
Divination in the Craft is a direct channel for receiving information from spirit, the subconscious, and higher consciousness, and this module covers four distinct methods: Tarot reading using 78-card spreads, pendulum use for direct yes/no answers, water scrying using a dark bowl, and mirror scrying for visions and spirit messages. Alongside these four systems, the module covers the development of the four core psychic senses, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, and Claircognizance, so that divination becomes intuitive rather than mechanical over time.
Effective spellwork requires the ability to shift consciousness deliberately, and this module teaches the methods used in the Craft to enter altered states through breathwork, incense, candle flame gazing, and drumming. Astral projection, dream magick, and guided journeys are covered as distinct practices with their own preparation and closing protocols, and grounding techniques are taught in full so that every session is properly closed and no energetic portals are left open. This module is the internal foundation that makes all external ritual more precise.
Spirit and ancestor communication is one of the oldest dimensions of the Craft and requires specific protocols for safety, respect, and energetic clarity. This module covers building and maintaining an ancestral altar, correct offering practices, safe spirit communication with clear boundary setting, and ancestral healing through forgiveness rituals and pattern-breaking ceremony. Deity relationships are taught separately, covering the nature of deities as archetypal powers and spiritual beings, with specific guidance on Hecate, Aphrodite, and Lilith including their domains, correct approach, and appropriate offerings.
Practical results in love and money are among the most common reasons people come to the Craft, and this module teaches the full range of methods used in both areas without simplifying them. Love magic covers honey jars, glamour enchantment of objects and the self, mirror magic for attraction and self-love, and poppet construction for attraction and protection. Money magic covers Road Opener rituals, money drawing spells, working with coins, cinnamon, and sigils for income, and building career intention jars and energetically charged workspaces.
Hoodoo is a distinct folk magic tradition rooted in African-American practice, and this module teaches it as its own system with its own logic rather than as an extension of Wicca. Graveyard dirt collection with correct spirit protocol, bottle spells for protection, justice, and love, and rootwork with High John and Devil's Shoe String are all covered, alongside petition paper methods used across multiple traditions. Advanced binding and baneful magic is taught here as well, including ethical reversals, uncrossing with hyssop, shadow protection, psychic armour, justice jars, and the personal reflection required before any baneful spell is cast.
Every spell is strengthened when it aligns with the correct planetary hour, lunar phase, and seasonal timing, and this module builds the complete framework for timing-based practice. Eclipse rituals for karmic endings, moon oil preparation, sky-based omens, and the use of planetary correspondences across all seven classical planets are covered in full. The final class brings all prior learning into a unified practice: crafting complete rituals from opening to closing, maintaining a ritual diary that tracks signs and outcomes over time, and understanding how to read and respond to synchronicities, candle behavior, and dream messages as part of long-term magical development. The course closes with the self-initiation rite given and conducted by High Priestess Rittika Ji, a formal attunement in which you declare your path, make your vows to the Craft, and are recognized as an initiated practitioner within the Astro Vistaar lineage, with eligibility to be added to the coven.

FAQs

How is this different from other online witchcraft or Wicca courses?Toggle FAQ answer
Most competitors teach Wicca alone. Module 1 explicitly covers four distinct paths, Wiccan, Hoodoo, Elemental, and Eclectic, and Module 12 treats Hoodoo as its own respected tradition with its own logic, not folded into Wicca as an afterthought.
Do I actually get initiated as a witch, or is this just theoretical?Toggle FAQ answer
Real initiation. Module 13 closes with a self-initiation rite personally given and conducted by High Priestess Rittika Ji, where you make your vows and become eligible to be added to the coven, not just a printable completion certificate.
Is Hoodoo really part of a witchcraft course? Isn't that a separate tradition?Toggle FAQ answer
It's taught as its own system here, not as an extension of Wicca. Module 12 covers graveyard dirt protocol, bottle spells, and rootwork with the respect and distinct logic this African-American folk tradition deserves.
Do I need to already believe in magic, or is it okay if I'm scared by internet fear-mongering around witchcraft?Toggle FAQ answer
That fear is exactly what Module 1 addresses first, clearing the myths that have historically distorted public understanding of the Craft, before any ritual work begins.
Will this teach me love and money spells, or just theory and history?Toggle FAQ answer
Both, and deeply. Module 11 covers the full range of love magic, honey jars, glamour work, poppet construction, alongside money magic like Road Opener rituals and prosperity sigils, real practical spellwork, not just history.
